What is Push Me?

Push Me is a brilliantly conceived and addicting puzzle game that challenges spatial reasoning in a somewhat different manner. At first, it may seem a simple sliding-block puzzle, but then there is a twist: the red block, which forms the crux of each puzzle, cannot be directly interacted with. Instead, other blocks will be manipulated to push, carry, or simply drop that red block to the goal. This is a refreshing change to classic sliding puzzles, with very easy mechanics all-too-quickly turning into confounding challenges.

How to Play

The grounds are straightforward but require you to exercise your imagination early on:

Objective: Get the red block out of the board.
The Catch: You are not allowed to move the red block directly-it can only be moved by other blocks.
Controls: Use your mouse to click and drag blocks around (depending on your platform).
The Mechanics: Some blocks merely push others away, while others are able to lift and drop the red block: Pay close attention!

Start easy; don't fall into the trap. The subsequent levels are going to demand a huge amount of logic and patience.

Plan Ahead: Think in at least two moves—rushing usually leads to dead ends.
Experiment: Different blocks can act in unusual ways. Test their behaviors before locking your strategy in.
Undo Intelligently: Be ready to backtrack sometimes instead of always starting over.
Think Outside the Grid: Some solutions have to get down right unconventional, like dropping the block from above.
