What Is Tetr js?

Tetr js is the modern variation running on a web browser retaining a bit of that nostalgic Tetris mystique. Classic elements that kept the original game so much fun were preserved by the designers: falling blocks and in-time line-clear queues. Some contemporary conveniences, such as piece holding and smooth controls, were added to improve the experience. How to Play

Moving Left/Right: Slide the falling piece left or right using the designated arrow keys.
Rotate: Press the up arrow to rotate the falling piece clockwise.
Soft Drop: Use the down arrow key to speed up its descent slightly.
Hard Drop: The piece falls instantly to the bottom by pressing the spacebar.
Hold: With the "C" key, the current piece may be stored in its hold place for later use (once per drop).

The aim is to empty horizontal lines by completely filling them up with blocks. Each line cleared gives points to a player and slows the rise of the game's difficulty; however, stacking becomes enormously high, and it's an instant game over!

Tips & Tricks

Plan Ahead: Keep an eye on the next piece to figure out how to place your current piece.
Use the Hold Wisely: Save awkward shapes (like the "S" or "Z") for tighter spots.
T-Spin Mastery: Rotate a T-block into tight spaces for bonus points--a pro move!
Stay Centered: Keeping your stack flat and centered gives more flexibility.
