What is Mine Blocks 2?

Mine Blocks 2 is an adorable 2-dimensional sandbox adventure that mixes the best elements of Minecraft and Terraria inside a mini side-scroller. Mine resources, craft tools, and build refuges while defending your domains against enemies that come with the night. The game is still in its Alpha stage, so: expect bugs! Nevertheless, the game will offer players an undying scope of creativity and exploration, simply made 2D.

How to Play

Movement: Arrow keys/WASD to move your character around.
Mining & Building: Click or advance with action, use the pickaxe to break a block, then place it anywhere for immediate shelter or bridge.
Survival: Collect resources (wood, stone, etc.) during the day so that you can defend against the enemies at night.
Controls: Simple mouse and keyboard action—mine, build, and survive!

Tips & Tricks

Shelter Comes First: Build your first crude shelter before it gets dark to keep away the enemies.
Resource Hoarding: Extra wood and stone during the early days will be useful for crafting tools and torches.
Light It Up: Torches are your best friends to keep the hostile mobs away from your base.
Explore With Caution: Digging deeper might get you rare materials, but be wary of traps or hidden dangers.

Mine Blocks 2 is a fan tribute to Minecraft and Terraria, which merges their core mechanics in a 2D environment. Originally conceived as a free-browser game, it's currently in Alpha, which means that the extensive features (such as multiplayer) are working through the bugs, but the core survival loopies are already loaded with fun.
