What is Blocking Bugs?

The fast-paced strategic arcade game pits the player against deadly viruses from the familiar killers like Coronavirus and Ebola to the never-before-seen Yaravirus. The player has to steer clear, outwit, or destroy these tiny threats before they take over the whole screen. Simple controls, but tougher levels mean players have to carefully destroy every virus wave while strategizing their moves.

How to Play

Movement: Use keyboard (or touch controls for mobile) to move your block around the screen.
Objective: Avoid viruses and strategically "block" them to remove pieces of the screen.
Survive: The longer you stay alive, the faster and harder the viral attacks will be—thoughts would be a scenario of run or get eaten!

Tips & Tricks

Plan Ahead: At first, viruses move predictably before getting catatonic. Try to predict their route while early.
Corner Tricks: Try to use the edges of the screen to map out restricted virus movement and safe zones.
Keep Moving: Moving less puts you in the position to be gobbled up by the virus swarm!
