What is Big Block Mode?

Big Block Mode is a new and difficult turn on the East Coast of Tetris. If stack-dropping in danger and spatial awareness is your thing, this game uses a special multi-screen mechanic to boost the excitement: instead of managing just a single playfield, you must quickly build structures on secondary screens that will soon merge into one main grid! Time limits and ever-increasing speeds will put players to the test!

How to Play

Placing Blocks: Drag and drop the Tetris-like pieces onto the main screen or the secondary grids.
Line Clearing: Complete a full horizontal line to clear it away and earn some score.
Multi-Screen Planning: Arrange empty side screens for structures that will be transferred onto the main board.
The Race Against Time: Ten seconds to place the blocks at each stage—work fast!
Survive: It's game over when the blocks are stacked on top of the main screen.

Tips & Tricks

Plan Ahead: Use the side screens to sort difficult pieces before hitting the main grid.
Fill Gaps: Fill in empty spaces first to avoid imminent chaos.
Fast Moves: Speed is key in the later stages—practice that rotation and placement!
Keep Cool: Panicking makes you slip; breathe and think!

Big Block Mode was developed by UnitedFailures and Davecodev, putting a more modern twist on the time-tested pattern of Tetris. It maintains the ancient style of block-stacking yet adds newer strategic layers and pressure on the player.
